Chris Brown's denial tour 2009 continues ... he just filed legal papers claiming he's not to blame for a nasty accident at a sports club in Los Angeles.
Brown was sued by a paparazzo (not ours) back in May. Robert Rosen claimed he fell down a stairwell at an LA Fitness club after being chased by Brown's bodyguards and was then allegedly assaulted.
Brown has just filed legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- claiming he's not responsible for the injuries because LA Fitness didn't properly maintain and supervise its operation -- we're assuming that means keeping photogs out of the joint.
The incident occurred a month after Brown assaulted Rihanna.
Brown claims ... if Rosen gets a judgment, the cost shouldn't be on his shoulders.

John Kerry's daughter is free and clear this morning... because the L.A. City Attorney has decided not to prosecute her for DUI -- that's what law enforcement sources tell TMZ.
TMZ broke the story Alexandra Forbes Kerry was busted by the LAPD early Thursday morning, but her blood alcohol level was .06 ... under the legal limit of .08.
The City Attorney typically doesn't prosecute cases with a .06 ... so the decision to reject the case is pretty routine.

Here's the kind of "Twilight" merchandise you really don't want your kids getting their hands on -- baggies of heroin with a cartoon of Rob Pattinson's face printed on them.

DEA Special Agent Erin McKenzie-Mulvey tells us the heroin baggies with "Twilight" characters were seized recently in West Hempstead, Long Island. The "Twilight"-themed baggies have been gaining popularity over the last couple of months.
New York Special Agent in Charge John Gilbride tells TMZ a dime bag of heroin in New York is cheaper than a six pack of beer.

TMZ has learned San Diego Chargers star Antonio Cromartie is being investigated for assault with a deadly weapon over a bruising incident in a San Diego bar last night.
According to law enforcement sources, Cromartie -- a Pro-Bowl defensive back -- was out celebrating the Chargers win at a local San Diego bar when somebody threw a champagne bottle which hit a bystander in the head.
Witnesses claim there was champagne being sprayed back and forth between Cromartie's party and other bar patrons -- until the mood changed and someone threw a bottle.
We're told the bystander had a cut on his head -- but no ambulance was called to the scene.
Law enforcement sources tell us 25-year-old Cromartie was identified as the bottle-thrower by at least one person -- but there are conflicting stories from other witnesses.
Cromartie was essential in the Chargers' 32-3 win over the Denver Broncos yesterday, raking in a key interception in the second half.
UPDATE: Cromartie's agent, Gary Wichard, seems to be throwing Antonio's teammates under the bus, telling TMZ, "This is absolutely not a story. Antonio didn't throw the bottle. There were actually three other players involved. Antonio is at a complex working out. Again, this is not a story."
UPDATE #2: After we posted Wichard's statement, his story changed. Here is what he's telling us now: "he was there with 2 other players ... no one was involved in the fight."
Story developing...

Former NBA star Reggie Miller must have had a change of heart about that restraining order he wanted because he didn't show up in court today, so the case was dismissed.
Sources tell TMZ the dispute has been settled.
Miller was trying to get a restraining order against Alex Von Furstenberg. Miller claimed Alex threatened him over his alleged interactions with Alex's fianceé, Ali Kay.
Miller got a TRO against Von Furstenberg last month and was supposed to be in court today to make it permanent. No one for Miller or Von Furstenberg showed when the case was called.

The median household income in Tarzana, Calif. is a quite modest $73,195 -- and it's about to go up because Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are movin' in.

Sources tell TMZ that Khloe and Lamar just bought a house in Tarzana for a cool $3.995 million. It's 8,347 sq. feet with seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.
It's part of a gated community -- good for keeping the paps at bay for the five minutes a day they don't want to be photographed.

O.J. Simpson is a popular man while he's sitting behind bars. A slew of documentarians want to get a sit-down with The Juice.
Sources at the Lovelock Correctional Center tell TMZ at least 10 people who have never met O.J. have contacted the prison in hopes of landing an interview with Simpson. We're told all were shot down by Lovelock's PIO.
"If I Did It ... Again" would make a catchy doc title, don't you think?

TMZ has learned Kevin Rudolf -- the dude who isn't Lil Wayne in that "Let It Rock" song -- pissed off a lot of high school students last month when his $7,000 homecoming performance turned out to be two lip-synced songs and a fast exit.

The ASB director at Valencia High School in California tells TMZ Rudolf was paid the $7k to sing at their homecoming dance ... but instead of singing, we're told he just popped in a DVD and lip-synced his two most popular songs -- "Let It Rock" and "Welcome to the World."
The ASB director tells us when he confronted Rudolf on his Britney-esque performance, some guy in the singer's entourage said, "Forget this place. Let's get out of here." And then left.

Jon and Kate Gosselin's divorce is heading to a conclusion, after a contentious day Saturday at the arbitration table. We've learned even Jon isn't contesting that Kate should get primary custody and a decision on who gets what in the money department will be handed down within 30 days.

Sources tell us the two issues on the battlefield are the distribution of assets and child support. In Pennsylvania, the courts award "equitable" distribution when it comes to property, but that doesn't necessarily mean 50/50.
Sources tell us neither party asked for spousal support.
We're told Jon and Kate actually agreed to the amounts certain items were worth, but they were far apart on issues relating to how the assets should be distributed.
The arbitration was supposed to last two days -- today and Monday -- but it all got handled on Saturday.
Both Jon and Kate testified in the arbitration. The decision of the arbitration is binding on both of them.

Jon Bon Jovi and Gwen Stefani are following in Taylor Swift's sports-bar-crushing footsteps -- because the two pop stars are also suing a hometown drinking establishment for allegedly jacking their music.

According to a lawsuit filed in Minnesota last month, several of Gwen and Bon Jovi's compositions were publicly performed at Sally's Saloon & Eatery -- and they claim the bar never got the licensing it needed. Now Bon Jovi, Gwen, and all the other people who own copyrights to their music want the bar to pay damages ... and stop playing their songs.
This could be a crushing blow to the local watering hole -- because as we all know, a bar without Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" is like a bird without wings.
Calls to Universal Music Group weren't returned. A rep at Sally's wasn't even aware of the lawsuit.
